July 2017 - Encuentro de Santander, Spain

In July I flew out to Santander in Northern Spain to perform as part of the Encuentro de Santander Music Festival. I performed in several concerts there with a wide variety of repertoire including:

Traditional: O can ye sew cushions (Unaccompanied)
Delibes: Flower Duet (Lakme)
Verdi: Caro Nome (Rigoletto)


It was quite challenging, with repertoire ranging from the Baroque to the 21st Century in 6 different languages (English, Spanish, German, Italian, French and a made up language in my contemporary piece). It was a great opportunity and I even had this awesome article written about me in a Spanish Newspaper called “Alerta”.
