Mahler: Symphonie No.2 At The Royal College of Music

Today I am sat in rehearsals for Friday's performance of Mahler 2. This is the first time I have heard it with the orchestra. I am singing in the chorus. The chorus sing only in the final 10 minutes or so, but this creates a truly spine tingling moment when we do join in with the orchestra. We begin singing 'ppp' (which for those of you who don't know musical terms means extremely quietly) and by the end we are singing top B flats marked 'fff' (extremely loud). As you can imagine this is Romanticism at its height.

Soloists will be :
Elizabeth Watts and Sarah Connolley

Adam Shaw Couture - Opera Fashion Show

Come see me sing on the 7th November in beautiful Yorkshire. I will be wearing the most incredible hand made dress I have ever worn. It was tailor made for me from the finest silk and lace from Paris. I had a team of stylist create this incredible hair at the first event (there was even real flowers in it at the back). AND I had a Pannier on underneath the dress to give it this shape.

There will also be plenty more of Adams designs storming down the runway.

So much fun to be a part of and to watch. SO much art, culture and talent in one lovely man.

And best of all - all the money raised will go to charity.

I hope you got to watch me every day Monday to Friday on ITV1 at 4pm from the 22nd September til the 27th. So many people phoned, rang, tweeted or messaged me on Facebook to say that they enjoyed watching me. I have never felt so popular!
