This summer started with a bang. I spent three wonderful days at Latitude Festival. It was my first time to ever go to a big Rock music festival like this one. I was very excited. But even more excited because I had an access all areas pass and was camping in the artists area. 
I love my job sometimes!
My performance at the festival was on one of the main stages - the Cabaret stage - at 11.30pm on the Saturday night. Just after the headline band had finished on the main stage. So as you can imagine, the cabaret stage was full! There were people bursting out of the marquee doors.
I felt that it was a privilege to be able to introduce people to opera. Many of the people in my audience had probably never listened to classical music before. I was so honoured to be able to share a little piece of my art with these people.
