Instead of presents or cards this Christmas, I would prefer a donation towards my charity shark swim with Selina Chotai. Every little helps. I would rather help others who need it than receive gifts myself. Thank you.
Yes I know. This is ridiculous. I am going to do a charity swim with Sharks. The lengths I go to to help out those in need.
Earlier this year I questioned whether I was doing all that I can to help others. I came to the conclusion that I can still do more. And so started my quest to start GIVING BACK.
So here I am, having performed for many charity auctions, dinners and fundraisers over the past few months, having raised £150 for the London Basket Brigade through a skydive, and who I will also be volunteering with on the 23rd December. http://www.basketbrigade.org.uk/
But for me, that still isn't enough.
I want to give more. So when my friend Selina invited me to join her on a charity Shark swim fundraiser, I said yes. We have an ambitious combined total of £1000 to raise.
So this Christmas. I don't want cards... I would rather the £2 cost of a card and a stamp be donated to charity.
I don't need presents. I would rather the value of a new bath set or jewelry or bottle of wine etc. be donated to charity.
If you are feeling generous. Please give whatever you can afford. Every little helps.
